Summer is tough for children in New Orleans. Approximately 1/3 of our city’s children live in poverty and there are not enough affordable summer camps. We would like to help pitch in a little towards making summer a rewarding and nurturing time.

We also wanna help employ teens and teach children about climate change. Our focus on possible climate-solutions helps foster a sense of climate-hope, which is pretty important if you are gonna live in South Louisiana. Finally, we eat lots of beans.
